It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
